Natalie and I have just purchased our first home.  Now we just have to pay the bank back.  It is a single level 3 bedroom early 1960's villa with a large terraced rear section.  The window below is a large storage space under the house and then we have a few steps down to the garage.  We have been living here since the end of October 1999.

We're looking at renovating out lounge/living room/dining room.  To try out some different design ideas', I borrowed a computer program from Hamish (Brother 'in' law) that does 3D modelling and walkthroughs.  Here are some of the snapshots I made from it.

Some things aren't exactly the same but they're pretty close.  It only took a couple of hours to do this and I can walk through it in real time (using the program I have).  Very cool.  I'll post some more images to show you what we're going to do when we've decided.

Over Christmas, I decorated the house with about 3000 Christmas lights.  Here is a photo.

The thing coming out of the garage is the car.  It was a timed exposure so looks a bit wierd.

I now have added a big coloured star in the main window since this photo was taken.
